Loanitt general terms of service
1. Who we are
Loanitt Limited (“Loanitt”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a company registered in Ireland (No. 643708).
Registered address: Unit 6, Hebron House, MacDonagh Junction, Kilkenny.
We act as a credit intermediary, arranging or offering to arrange credit through our online platform.
We are authorised by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
2. Your agreement with us
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any additional terms we publish, form your agreement with us (“Agreement”).
This Agreement governs your use of our website, platform, apps, and related services (“Services”).
To use our Services, you must:
- Accept these Terms
- Provide accurate information
- Complete any identification or verification we require
You must also:
- Pass any required regulatory checks
- Not be in breach of these Terms
- Not have had a previous account closed by us
Once these conditions are met, we will make our Services available to you.
3. Regulatory information
We operate under the Consumer Credit Act 1995 (as amended) and are authorised by the CCPC to provide credit intermediary services.
4. Changes to this agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time, for example due to legal, regulatory, or service changes.

Continued use of the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
5. Commencement and term
These Terms begin when you accept them and continue until your account is closed or terminated.
We may suspend or restrict access where necessary, including for:

- Suspected unauthorised or fraudulent activity
We will inform you where possible.
6. Acceptance of membership
We reserve the right to accept or refuse your registration, subject to applicable law.
7. The Loanitt platform
Our platform allows you to:
- Submit applications
- Provide required information
- Review offers from lenders
- Manage your account
You can access the platform via our website or app.
8. Verification of identity
You agree to provide any information required to verify your identity or funding sources.
We may:
- Request additional documentation
- Use third-party verification services
- Suspend or restrict access if verification cannot be completed
You must ensure your account information remains accurate and up to date.
9. Security
You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
This includes:
- Protecting your login details
- Securing your device and email account
- Reporting any suspected unauthorised access immediately
Failure to do so may result in unauthorised use for which you may be responsible.
10. Use of services
You must use the Services lawfully and in line with this Agreement.
You must not:
- Use the Services for fraud or illegal activity
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt to interfere with systems or security
- Use automated tools to access or copy the platform
- Create multiple accounts without permission
If you breach these Terms, we may take action including suspending or closing your account and reporting matters to relevant authorities.
11. Suspension of services
We may suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, without liability.
12. Liability
We do not handle or control the transfer of funds between you and lenders.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
- Delays or failures outside our control
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits, data, or business
You are responsible for any liabilities arising from your use of the Services or breach of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
13. Closing your account
You may close your account at any time by contacting info@loanitt.ie.
We may restrict closure where an investigation is ongoing.
We will retain your data in line with our Privacy Policy (typically up to 6 years).
14. Communications
You agree to receive communications electronically via:
- The platform
It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date and review communications regularly.
15. Data
Your data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
We may:
- Share data with regulators, lenders, and service providers
- Collect usage and technical data
- Record calls for training and security
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive service-related communications.
16. Intellectual property
All content, trademarks, and systems related to the Loanitt platform are owned by or licensed to us.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without permission.
17. Requesting information
You may request a copy of these Terms or other required information at any time.
18. Customer support and complaints
If you have a complaint, contact info@loanitt.ie.
We will:
- Acknowledge within 5 working days
- Keep you updated
- Follow our formal complaints procedure
If unresolved, you may refer your complaint to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (FSPO).
19. No warranty
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee:
- Continuous availability
- Error-free performance
We are not responsible for third-party products or services accessed through our platform.
20. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access where:
- You breach these Terms
- We suspect fraud or misuse
- You pose a risk to the platform or other users
We may also discontinue Services where necessary.
21. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
If any part is found invalid, the remaining Terms will still apply.
Failure to enforce any part does not waive our rights.
